David Jones Autumn/Winter 19
MAGIC is just one of the ways I could describe David Jones’ AW19 Launch, set at the beautiful Museum Of Old and New Art (MONA) . With 3 days full of one of kind experiences of food, fashion and wellness, I had the most amazing time during my first trip to Tasmania.
Big kisses & a huge thank you to David Jones and the team for having me along for the ride. Re-live my 3 day adventure of Living, Fashion & Wellness below!
Art Of Living
After a quick overnight stay at Maylands Lodge to celebrate our arrival in Hobart, Day 1 was all about experiencing the art of Food, Entertaining and Stylish Living. A truly amazing table setting (ranging from themes of the Sea to the Farmhouse) featuring beautiful homewares from David Jones, greeted us at lunch at MONA’s in house restaurant, The Source. Dressed for lunch (and with a love for Macgraw!), I chose this beautiful pastel mint green organza maxi dress - so so beautiful!
Art of Fashion
Runway time. The runway (set inside the museum of course!) celebrated the best of Australian and International designers and showcased trends like animal print (leopard and tiger galore!), tailored layering and muted colouring mixed with bold tones. I’m wearing one of my fave Aussie labels - KitX made by Kit Willow who I absolutely adore. Having a chat with Kit at the event, I love her energy when describing to me the thought behind the dress I was wearing - the honeycomb lace representing the life and hard work of bees. Genius.
KITX, Veil Honeycomb Dress, $1295.00
Art Of Wellness
The next morning, wellness was on the cards - which was MUCH needed after our after party the night before ha! After a beautiful brunch of fresh fruit and pastries at Faro Restaurant, Teresa Palmer lead the way to help us all reflect and re-energise. The theme = Dress for Comfort.
