Melbourne Cup Carnival 2014 | Stakes Day

The 2014 Melbourne Cup Carnival is done and dusted, and I'm definitely a little (or a lot!) devastated for it to be over! This year I've been all about my neutral white looks and longer hemlines.  And this Alice McCall look I wore on Stakes Day was definitely the perfect way to cap off a fun week on the fashion front.

I absolutely loved my Lady of Leisure custom lace headpiece from my Melbourne Cup look so much I wore it again - but this time as a halo. And of course my Nine West nude heels which have been with me 3/4 days - they are seriously the most comfortable shoes I've worn, which most importantly meant there was no endless complaining and "I'm actually about to die" from sore feet!

I cannot THANK everyone enough for making this year as amazing as it was - especially my LMB family for absolutely killing the game. Thank you as well to Emirates, Myer, Lavazza and Johnnie Walker for having us throughout the week. Bring on next year!
