Outfit Of The Day 03.07.14

I feel like I'm ready for 12 meetings in a row in this look.

I absolutely love midi skirts. I think they're a great balance of conservative and chic - especially when they have an interesting cut like this asymmetrical number from Boohoo (and is a complete bargain as well!). I also love the look of knits over shirts when going for that business/corporate look. I've worn this Maurie & Eve knit on numerous occasions - it's just so classic and versatile. Once again, it's an "interesting basic" so you can pull off a number of looks with just that one piece.

Keeping your base monochrome then lets you play up on your statement pieces - like a coat or a clutch. I decided to stick with my fave leopard and camel combo of course, but could've easily gone with say a classic beige trench and my LV Speedy 35 - the limit does not exist (Lindsay Lohan voice).

  1. What a perfect skirt! I love the asymmetrical hem + midi length, it's such a flattering shape.

I just discovered your blog through Tumblr and I love it already. I honestly can't wait to see more posts.
