LHGG Day 2: Scarves

Josh Goot’s flower bomb graphic from his spring 2013 collection would have to be one of my favourite prints ever produced by an Australian designer. I am absolutely in love with it, so when I saw the flower bomb print silk scarf, I knew it would be something on the top of a lot of women’s wish list, including my very own. Aside from the flower bomb digital print, the designer has also released the orchid frame silk scarf, as well as the silk flower brocade scarf, each in multiple colours.

The flower bomb scarf comes in two colours: white and black. I seriously love both colours but can see myself getting more wear out of the black one (I am from Melbourne after all). This would be such a great gift to anyone who already loves the flower bomb print or is not a huge fan of wearing print but still wants that iconic Josh Goot style.

Equally as amazing is the JG orchid frame silk scarf, which also comes in white and black. And although I have showcased the black in this post, the beautiful gold print on white is stunning!!  This scarf is so detailed and the intricate pattern would lend itself as a beautiful focal point for an all black outfit.

In terms of styling, I can definitely see myself wearing these scarves with a simple marle grey t-shirt and black j brand jeans rolled up with sandals. Simple. Otherwise, I love the look of silk scarves tied around the handle of purses. How would you style these?

The scarves can be purchased from Threadbare and are priced at $145.00.

  1. I love the second one a lot.

  2. This one is good. keep up the good work!..
